John 10:27-28, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”

As disciples and followers of Christ, we are to share the word of God with others. There are 3 different levels that we are to teach on according to each individual you are speaking to. You don’t want to overload someone who is a new believer in Christ, and you don’t want to speak of the basics to someone who is an avid bible reader. Jesus explains this to Peter in John chapter 21.

John 21:15-17, ” So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.”

As we know, Jesus is the Shepherd, and at this point in time, He is getting close to the time that He will ascend into heaven. Peter, being one of the apostles is to go out and teach the brethren the word of God. Things have not changed, and God wants His children who know His word to reach out to others. Some of these that we reach out to may be lambs because they are just babes in Christ, and can’t handle the full meat of God’s word. Just like a baby needs milk, and can’t digest food yet. He also told Peter to feed the sheep. Sheep have no need for milk, they need actual food, that is, the meat of God’s word to sustain themselves. Most churches nowadays stay stuck on teaching their flock only the small things of God’s word. They tell you in seminary schools not to teach above a fourth grade level. This has been part of Satan’s plan. He doesn’t want people knowing the truth or the strong meat of God’s word. He just wants everyone to remain as a lamb on milk. What does God’s word say about this?

Hebrews 5:13-14, “For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”

So in order to exercise your senses, that is, to have eyes to see, and ears to hear so that you may be able to discern both good and evil, you need to be fed the meat of God’s word. Most churches stick to only teaching about salvation and baptism. They tell you that you don’t need to read and understand certain books of the bible because, of course, they’ve read it and understand it, and that you’re going to be flown out of here in a pre-trib rapture. None of this is new though. Satan doesn’t want you prepared, and he definitely doesn’t want you knowing what happens in the last days.

2 Timothy 3:1-7, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

Sounds exactly like this generation! Always learning, but never actually coming to the knowledge of truth. They’re so busy pleasing their flesh, and don’t take any time to study God’s word. They just trust the man in the pulpit to teach them a watered down version of God’s word. They’re educated by worldly standards, not Godly standards. Satan uses the education system (including the media), economical system, political system, and religious system (these four things are known as the four horns/four hidden dynasties) to get some of his best lies out there to deceive the masses. Father warned us of the famine that would be here in the last days in the book of Amos.

Amos 8:11, “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord:”

This is what is taking place right now! If you try to even speak up against the false teachers and false doctrines, you get rebuked, even from other “so called” Christians. That’s okay though, we are still called to go out and feed the lambs and the sheep. We plant the seed, and Father waters it, if it’s His will. Jesus was hated and persecuted for teaching truth, and we will be also.

John 15:20-21, “ Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.”

It’s far better to be hated for standing up for Christ and what’s right than what the world deems right. Those who stand for truth won’t be popular to the world, but Father sees what you are doing. You don’t have to have some fancy degree to understand God’s word, you don’t even need to be an adult to know and teach God’s word. God’s word is so simple, even a child can understand it. That’s why Jesus said in Matthew 19, “Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” For those out there teaching God’s work, and exposing the evils going on in the world, keep fighting the good fight!!!! Keep blowing that trumpet and sounding the alarm! In doing so, you are feeding His sheep.
